Product Packaging

So I decided to do a little research/indulging of my own and did a rather large order on MUA's online store. I simply couldn't resist with the 20% discount offered when I signed up to their newsletter. With my order I wanted to get a range of products to test out, and to also add to my kit if I liked them. Thankfully, MUA's products are so affordable that I am able to take this risk.

These are the yummy products that arrived! So you can see that I got a few individual eyeshadows, an eyeshadow palette, blusher, bronzer, highlighter, lipstick, nail varnish, a nail foils kit and an eyeshadow brush.

The packaging clearly displays the brands name on the products, which is very important for product promotion. The packaging is nothing fancy, which is suitable for the product's pricing and what you would expect for products that are as cheap as £1. Their packaging also makes the makeup very visible, which I believe to be very useful for day-to-day use and/or for professional use. This makes the products very easy to distinguish without opening.

The two products which have the most complex packaging are the nail foils kit and the eyeshadow palette. The MUA Luxe Metallic Nails in Star Shine are packaged in a suitably colourful box with neatly separated sections inside for the base varnish and the sheets of foil. The packaging clearly states on the front of the box exactly what the product is and what to expect on the inside. For the Elysium Palette, the packaging is very geometrical and neatly displays the different shades through the clear lid. Inside, there is a small section where the pencil neatly fits.

All of the packaging is very basic, but practical and allows the user to have easy access to the product. I believe that the packaging is appropriate for all users and I find it very pleasing.
